Anthony F. Hall

Editor
Tony Hall grew up in Warrensburg, where his mother taught elementary school and his father published weekly newspapers, including the Lake George Mirror. After graduating from college, he returned to the Adirondacks and went to work for the region’s legendary state Senator, Ron Stafford. Tony and Lisa Hall live in Bolton Landing.

Lisa H. Hall

Publisher

Lisa Hammerquist Hall’s Huguenot ancestors migrated from Quebec to Saranac Lake before the Civil War. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she operated a successful small couture business in New York City, Albany and the Adirondacks for 25 years. Her work appeared in many publications, including Martha Stewart Living, Town & Country and the New York Times Magazine, among others. Her background in design, business experience and a life-long love of community newspapers allowed her to step into the role of Lake George Mirror Publisher with enthusiasm. These days, her work as a couturier is confined to conserving the costumes of opera singer Marcella Sembrich at the museum in Bolton Landing dedicated to that diva’s memory. She also serves as the museum’s vice-president and as a director of the town’s historical society.

Buzz Lamb

Senior Correspondent
Buzz Lamb has lived in Bolton Landing all his life, although since 1975 he and his wife, Cheryl, have spent winters in sunny (and warm) South Florida. Buzz attended Bolton Central School and Syracuse University where he had a dual enrollment in education and liberal arts. After college he spent 10 years in retail with Montgomery Ward and International Harvester Company. Buzz and Cheryl owned and operated Norowal Marina in Bolton Landing for 31 years until they sold the business in 2005 and retired. A member of the Board of Directors of the Lake George Land Conservancy, Buzz’s other interests include collecting and restoring antique boats and outboard motors.
